WITH a jolt, five-year-old James Basil woke up feeling disorientated and strangely anxious.

His bedroom in Bristol was dimly lit by a chink of light from the bathroom, and James groggily looked around to make sure everything was okay.

To his horror, the terrified youngster spotted a lump under his duvet moving towards the bottom of the bed.

It slipped out the end, and petrified James found himself staring at a strange 3ft tall reptilian creature clutching the bedpost.

This was James’s first encounter with the aliens he described to his parents as the “little blue men”.

He claims they invaded his bedroom on a near-weekly basis throughout childhood - and even beamed him aboard their craft.

James, 29, says: “I can understand why people might be sceptical, but this was a regular and very real experience for me.

‘ I was floated out the window into a craft. I know how crazy this sounds, but it’s true ’

“It also affected my family greatly because I became a paranoid child who would wake in the night screaming for help.
